Rajendra Sharma

Born in Jaipur to a family of traditional woodworkers, Rajendra Sharma has dedicated his life to preserving the intricate art of Kadam wood carving. Learning the craft from his grandfather at the age of 12, Rajendra has spent over three decades mastering the delicate chiseling techniques that give his deities and architectural panels their lifelike expressions and precise details. He now trains 15 young apprentices in his workshop, ensuring that this royal heritage continues to thrive.
