Returns & Exchanges Policy

1. Introduction

PravahsHandicrafts Private Limited is committed to providing our customers with exquisite, premium handcrafted goods. We stand by the quality of our artisans' work. However, we understand that occasional issues may arise. This Returns & Exchanges Policy governs the conditions under which items may be returned or exchanged in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and e-commerce best practices.

2. 7-Day Return Window

Customers must initiate any eligible return or exchange request within exactly 7 days from the date the product is successfully delivered. Requests initiated after this window will be strictly declined.

3. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return or exchange, the product must meet all of the following conditions:

• Unused: The item must show no signs of use, wear, or washing.
• Original Packaging: Must be returned in its original, undamaged packaging.
• Original Tags: All authenticity tags, labels, and warranty cards must be fully intact and attached.
• Invoice: The original digital or physical invoice must be provided.
• Approval Required: No return will be accepted without prior written approval from our support team.

4. Valid Return Reasons

Returns and exchanges will only be authorized under the following circumstances:

• Wrong Item: You received a product different from what you ordered.
• Damaged Item: The product arrived physically damaged or broken.
• Major Manufacturing Defect: The product has a verifiable structural or functional defect.
• Product Different from Description: The product fundamentally deviates from the core specifications listed on the website.

5. Non-Returnable Products

Due to hygiene, customization, and the fragile nature of certain goods, the following items are strictly non-returnable:

• Personalized Items
• Customized Products
• Handmade Custom Orders
• Final Sale or Clearance Items
• Used Products
• Products damaged post-delivery due to customer misuse or improper handling.

6. Handmade Variation Policy

Our products are authentically handcrafted by traditional artisans, meaning no two items are perfectly identical. Natural differences in:

• Color and dye shading
• Texture
• Wood Grain
• Finish and polish
• Weaving patterns
• Minor Dimensions (within a 5% tolerance)

...are intrinsic hallmarks of genuine handmade crafts and are NOT considered manufacturing defects. Returns requested on the basis of these natural variations will be rejected.

7. Return Process

1. Contact Support: Email support@pravahshandicrafts.com within 7 days of delivery.
2. Submit Photos: Provide your Order ID, reason for return, and clear photographs/unboxing videos of the product and its defect.
3. Approval: Our quality team will review the request within 24-48 hours and issue an authorization if valid.
4. Pickup: We will arrange a reverse pickup via our logistics partners (if your PIN code is serviceable).
5. Inspection: Once received at our warehouse, the product undergoes a rigorous quality check.
6. Exchange / Refund: Upon successful inspection, your exchange or refund will be initiated.

8. Return Shipping

Unless the return is necessitated by a company error (e.g., wrong item shipped, damaged on arrival), the customer is responsible for bearing the reverse shipping charges. These charges will be deducted from the final refund amount.

9. Product Inspection

All returned items are subject to strict inspection before a refund or exchange is approved. If the item is found to be used, missing tags, or damaged by the customer, the return will be rejected and the item will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.

10. Exchange Policy

If you opt for an exchange rather than a refund, we offer the following resolutions (depending on stock availability):

• Replacement: An exact replacement of the defective item.
• Store Credit: A credit voucher valid for 1 year to purchase any item on our platform.
• Alternative Product: Exchange for a different product of equal value.
• Refund: If the requested exchange item is out of stock, a refund will be processed.
